Meet Kris Urwin
Harvey Test & Tag is owned and run by Kris Urwin. Kris has more than 20 years of experience across electrical and technical work, workplace health and safety, electrical safety testing, fire equipment servicing, telecommunications and project management.
Before starting Harvey Test & Tag, he spent more than four years running a national test and tag and fire safety franchise, and has held senior technical, state supervision and project management roles along the way.
He also has experience managing staff and subcontractors and running the day-to-day side of a business. It is that mix of hands-on trade work and safety and operations experience that he brings to every job: equipment tested properly, to the standard, with the paperwork to back it up.

- Electrical Trade Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- New Zealand electrical registration
- Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing
- Certificate IV in Project Management
- Biomedical equipment electrical safety training
- Patient area testing training
