Exit and Emergency Light Testing Across the South-West
Six-monthly discharge testing of your exit and emergency lights to AS/NZS 2293, with swap-outs handled through our electrician so it is one job, one invoice.

What is Exit & Emergency Light Testing?
Exit and emergency light testing makes sure your emergency lighting will actually work in a blackout or evacuation. It covers your illuminated exit signs and emergency lights.
It is carried out to AS/NZS 2293 and involves a discharge test: the mains power is cut and each light is checked to confirm it stays on for the required time on its own battery.
When a fitting or battery fails, we handle the swap-out through our electrician, so you get the test and the fix in one job, on one invoice.
What we test
- Illuminated exit signs
- Emergency and evacuation lights
- Battery discharge duration
- Fitting and lamp condition
- Single-point and centralised systems
- Swap-outs through our electrician
A test that just flicks the switch is not a test. We run a full discharge so you know each light will last the distance, and fix the ones that will not.
Test and tag done properly, not rushed through
